this seems to be a common thing, that is the only thing that kept me stranded for 8 hours about 200 miles from home, mine locked up while idleing at a Virginia rest stop, had to wait for the wife to bring me my spare. this is about the 5th time a slow crank was caused by a AC compressor that I remember on here.

And the local ford place told me I needed a new motor, said that it was locked internally, I towed it back home figured out what it was and swapped compressors and been driving it for 2-3 weeks now

The dealer has never worked on my truck and they never will, very few have someone who actually knows these motors, they only mak money if they find,create something drastic to fix.
