Default New tires

So looking to get new tires Monday. Tried to get bf Goodrich mud terrain e rated 275 70 18 said they didnt make them. I want something that has some thick mud looking tread. Priced some nitto terra grapplers what some tires Yal like looks and performance.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Been looking online I like the nitto trail grapplers and toyo mt open country also. Seen bf Goodrich mud terrains in a 285 70 18 will they fit my truck. Not sure if they were e rated. Only going back with an e rated tire.

I haven't heard that before, but I have heard they are loud and wear fast. Typical of such an aggressive tire though. A buddy had them, and he likes how they chewed through mud.

285/70 18's are 10 mm wider than 275/70 18's so not much difference

Do you NEED E rated? A lot of the larger D rated tires still have the same load capacity...

Nittos seem to wear fast, no matter which one you use.

The Toyo MT's are a very popular tire for the super duties and seem to hold up to the weight well.

I hate BFG's.

I'm running Pro-Comp X A/T's. Love them so far.

Found a place a couple of towns over that sales used tires with roughly 60-70 percent tread mounted and balanced for 100 bucks headed there in morning to check them out. Also priced the toyo mt open country there mounted and balanced 812 dollars
