The hose fitting is for the MAP sensor hose. Behind this bracket is the MAP sensor, there should be a hose going from this sensor to that hose fitting on the intake manifold pass side.

Yeah the map hose would certainly do it, it would also make the truck run like crap...

what your pointing to in the picture isnt it this is nlike a little 1/8" barbed fitting straight up out of the passenger runner of the manifold ill get a pic tonight and post it it ran fine just no boost i was worried it was the turbo vanes but at idle the vgt cycle is 65% and at WOT its 40% so those are working id like to know whta hooked to it before i put a pipe plug in it

The red hose in this pic is my MAP sensor hose, it goes from the pass side intake manifold to the MAP sensor behind the bracket in the above pic. With out the MAP sensor hose connected, the PCM isn't getting its input from the MAP to allow proper VGT operation.

Right. He's pointing to the other end of the setup there. The hose runs from that barb you see, to where he's pointing. Since you've told us it's not attached to the barb, he's telling you where to look to find the other end of the hose. If you find it where he's pointing in his first picture you're likely to find a hose attached to that at one and and free floating around under the hood at the other end. Take the loose end and put it back on that barb on the intake manifold...
