Shifter mod

Shifter mod
I'm planning on doing the F-650 lower dash and know that my shifter will interfere with the panel (no I don't want the manual transmission panel). So since I have yet to find anything online that will work, I'll just custom fab it. Any suggestions or recommendations on bar stock thickness/diameter? Thinking a mild "S" bend to clear the the panel then straight up to clear the seat, and back just a little farther. What do y'all think?
Something similar to the bends in this

Change in plans, gonna make a couple wrenches the shift arm. You know how you feed the open end of one wrench into the box of another (I know all of you have done it) and weld them to each other.

Now I'm on the fence about this. Lol. Thinking a "C" wrench coming off the throw, then a hex collar welded into the other end of that a straight wrench welded on there coming straight up. By the time I'm done with all my ideas this thing'll have 5+ shifters I can bolt to the sumbich. Lmao

Gonna have to come up with some custom leather boots too. Didn't realize how much that puppy did until I had it apart doing my mock-up today and had to run to the hardware store. Holy road noise Batman, sounded like the engine was idle 2" from my head.

...umm... I have a dilemma and can't decide. Need a little input from y'all. The "C" wrench is already torched/bent accordingly with a hex collar tack welded in place.
Option A:
2 Wrenches with another hex collar
Option B:
1/2" breaker bar and socket on collar (bar won't be welded to the socket)
Leaning more towards the breaker bar since I can just pop it off and change out for different lengths

I'm really digging the breaker bar, but I would highly suggest some method of fixing it more permanently than just popping it on and off. It would really suck if it fell off driving down the road. At least make it so you can bolt it together somehow.
The wrench method would be cool, but what you have there looks too "busy". The lower wrench should be flipped the opposite way so it curves away from the floor, not towards it (probably need less of an arch in it to do that) and then a long straight wrench.
I vote the breaker bar, looks a lot cleaner. Get it all anodized or PC'ed black too.
