Default what i have done

Thanks for all you diesel guys with the info on these 6.0's. Since reading this forum i changed my fuel filters, installed a coolant filter, and cleaned my egr valve. already knew how to do the other easy stuff. next is a edge monitor for coolant and oil temps. then its new egr cooler and sct with mild tune! Sounds like a good start! You going with a bulletproof EGR cooler I'm assuming?

Yep the bullet proof or the sinister. I forgot, i also ran down the vacum leak that was causing my air conditioner to run thru the defrost. this site is great!

Being in the People's Republic of California stinks when it comes to bolt ons. If your smog test is every 2 years, I'd have 2 exhausts, one cat, one 4" staight pipe. A friend maintains 2 h-pipes for his Mustang there.

Regardless, one step at a tim3, check temp split before doing egr, or you'll take it apart again for the oil cooler like I did.

I just seen this about the A/C I was wondering if anyone has/had this issue. A/C and heat both will work fine for about 20-30 min or so. Then it will stop blowing the air strong. I can hear the fan blowing on high but hardly any air coming out of the vent. If I shut it off or switch it to defrost or the feet setting it will come back. Somtimes the A/C I think freezes and I have to turn just that off and then the air will blow strong after a min or 2, then I can turn the A/C back on. Any one heard of this?

it was pretty easy. followed the write up on how to diagnose and fix. Hint: before you take your dash apart, check all the engine compartment hoses
