Well I messed up the amp board last night, gonna have to get a new one. I gotta get this thing running right and get away from side jobs. I dont have all the equipment readlly available to me to test things properly anymore. Took a chance with a new job and I ain't a mechanic anymore..

So, reman FICM, new ICP, cleaned and tested EBS, got a scanner, all vitals are perfect. had a miss fire for about 20 seconds when i fired it up cold, it also had a glitch it seems, took it up to 60kph, ICP read and remained at 34##psi for about 10-15 seconds, truck ran "stumbly", never happened again took her out on the highway, everything was perfect accept every now and then, mostly under low RPM loads i would get this missfire kind of happening, and when letting off the throttle, maybe this is normal but i could hear all the injectors shutting off for about 3-5 seconds, this only happened at higher speeds hitting the throttle then letting off, again, maybe its normal. Best way to word it is the injectors would "trickle" after heavey throttle input.
Otherwise, all other issues are gone! i'll also note all 8 injectors were replaced 10,000km ago

When you're cruising down the road and let off of the throttle the injectors will go VERY quiet, yes, sounds like they're off, that's normal.
I believe your ICP is normal, as the 03's ran less max ICP if memory serves.
This mis-fire thing at low RPM and high speed is usually a sticky injector. Try some rev-x.

So, after reading what is in the rev-x, zinc phosphate, and trying to find a place that would carry this stuff, i recalled that ac delco has a ZDDP additive bottle, sure enough, its got all the same crap in it. So i had the customer head down with his truck , at this point i wasnt thinking this was going to do anything, so i did a scan to see how many injectors are going down, So i could warrentee them. I also thought, ahh, what the hell, put the ZDDP additive in her and see what the hell happens...
Two days later i call the customer up to see how she's running, and he reports that all issues have subsided. So now i know what to pour into all these motors to avoide head aches.

I'm a little confused now... zddp seems to have been made by someone else. AC Delco sells, or used to sell, an EOS. On their site it says not recommended to use as an oil additive, it's used for engine break in.
Interesting read on ZDDP additives ZDDP - Debunking The Motor Oil Additive Urban Legend
Here's a place (closest to me) that sells ZDDPlus oil additive... ZDDPlus OIL ADDITIVE
$10 a bottle.... instead of Rev-X's $35. However, I'm a little leery about this still.... going to read into it some more.
Another good read here: http://www.thedieselgarage.com/forum...d.php?t=112058 (This one is a very good thread to read, as there is info from the guys at Evergreen posted in there too, worth the time to read through guys!)
This is a good discussion topic right here.

Zddp is the abriviation to zinc dialkyldithophosphates. It's in rev-x, pretty much it's a compound that has been taken out of all oils by car manufactures due to the fact that it was causing issues with all the sensors and cadalists in vehicles, this is especially important to run in vehicles with flat tap cams. Which is the main cause for flat tapped lifter failer in motors.
