High idle timer

High idle timer
Does anyone know of a way to make a timer for the high idle, not to turn it off but to turn it on? I'm looking into remote start systems for my truck and would rather not have to go outside shortly after pushing the button to flip the high idle switch. I really don't want to just keep the switch on and have it idle up immediately, before the oil has a chance to warm up a bit and effectively do its job. I'm thinking something along the lines of 2-2 1/2 minutes after the remote start is engaged and all of the conditions are met for the idle (e-brake set, clutch/brake pedals out, switch on) it will automatically bump the RPMs up. Any ideers?

I remember seeing a wireless module with remote. You could wire the high idle switch into that and turn it on and off as needed with the remote. As for just a timer im sure you can wire in some sort of delay but I think it would be more trouble than its worth. IMO
Something like this. I had one for my train horns.

Yeah it'd be nice to have another button on the fob to turn it on when you so chose.
The only issue is the upfitter switch is already going to have to be flipped up (I leave mine on all the time anyways) and the parking brake will have to be set when you get out of the truck the night before.
If it's cold enough it will idle up on it's own to around 1000rpms... but still not the same.
