has the performance been hurt by the sound? it might just be you are hearing the sound out of the exhaust when the vanes are changing pitch, they are steep wen you are on the throttle and shallow out when you let off letting the backpressure out the exhaust side. I bet it sounds good straight piped.

Not sure, it's almost like a blow off valve, I have a video

I wasn't the one talkin about movin, I remember reading someone else talkin about it.
You might have to get imput from someone else with a straight pipe to see if theirs is doing the same thing

it is probably going to take some normal driving for the computer to "learn ", the new turbo strategy

Definitely not turbo fart, but WTF is that? Sounds like the turbo is shutting down really quickly. What's the boost gauge showing? What are you getting for maximum boost? Does the gauge drop really fast when you let off? Does it do this pretty much all the time?

Ever had the EPB sensor out and cleaned it?

The most boost I hit is 24 psi, and yes when I let of the throttle the boost drops way fast. Yea it does this ALL THE TIME. It gets so annoying.

I would clean the EPB sensor but I dont know where it is????

It is on the end of a stainless tube right about at the middle of your drivers side valve cover, it has a tube that starts at the front of the exhaust manifold and comes up to above the valve cover.

Almost sounds more like a boost leak to me, when you let off, what boost it is building is just leaking right out.

Had any of the intercooler boots or tubes off recently?

Any power mods done to the truck? Not a lot of info to go off of here. If it's tuned, boost could be low, if it's stock that's normal.

end tank on the intercooler could have a crack, the plastic pipe on the drivers side of the intercooler could be cracked, boots could have slits in them that are hard to see.
