Yeah, their street tune. They say you can tow safely up to 10k lbs with the street tune, which is still a pretty fun tune.
Just don't get crazy when you're towing, there's no point over stressing the truck just because you can't take off like a rocket anymore with a huge trailer behind you. Just keep in mind you're putting the tow tune on to get a job done, not set speed records. I still use my tow tune even towing my 3500lb camper, just love the transmission control and downshifting and the aggressive converter lock up.

Hello All, I am a newbie to this forum but not to these trucks. I have a Ford F250 and I have made several pretty extensive mods to the motor. I pull a 35 foot fifth wheel trailer that sometimes weighs as much as 13,500 lbs. I have pulled it through the mountains back and forth to Florida from Indiana for three years now and about to go again on the fourth trip. I have experienced my truck running bad in the past and have replaced injectors, cleaned turbo, made many mods but the real improvement in the way the truck runs came with an additive that I developed. You see I am an engineer and I had what I believed was a stiction problem and it turned out to be right. I had paid alot of money for new and rebuilt injectors on several occasions. I could never really afford to replace them all at once so I just kept on replacing them a few at a time and got tired of cold take off performance and no starts when hot. Keep watching my threads, as soon as I get clearance from the admin guys I will tell you the name of this stuff that I invented that solved the problems with my truck and I believe it will for others also. Of course it is not a cure all for every problem, sometimes wrenchs must be turned and a few knuckles busted to fix big problems. Still, I can't wait to unleash it on the diesel truck world. It is going to save a bunch of people ton's of money. If you want to see my diy oil cooler for my 6.0 then visit www.acetroncorp.com/psd.htm Note: there is no clue there about my product, just cool diy mods.
