What I'm having a hard time understanding is your symptoms point to a bad FICM, ok, I get that. But 45 V isn't exactly low enough to cause it to have a noticeable change in the injector buzz or cause it to run like poo. Your symptoms sound more like a FICM that is pushing 30V or less, not only a few under normal... That seems really strange. I wish I had another spare here at the moment to send you to verify. Did you end up finding anyone else with a 6.0 near by to try one out? I'm trying to piece some together here, I have a pile of junk cores, hopefully I can get one good one out of some.

I know, but it was like that last time I think. I know that they truck runs fine the rest of time just not first thing and not when I leave work after it has say all day. All my friends either have cummins or 6.4. Except for my naighbor but his has took a dump to. The part I can't understand is that it runs fine the rest of the time. I have noticed my fuel mileage has dropped off some too. Hope this is not going to be a On going deal with it

Yeah usually once the motor warms up the FICM doesn't have to work as hard to get the injectors firing so the symptoms seem to go away. All arrows point to a faulty FICM, it's just that your voltage readings don't really jive with it, they say it should still be good.

I put the call in to get some FICM's back to me that are long overdue... haha. Hopefully I can get another one built here by the weekend to send your way for trial. Good news is I have probably 4 or 5 of the 7pin FICM's sitting on the bench, just none of them work properly, but I bet if we can swap some halves around we can get one working. I've just been too lazy/ not enough time to get it done. Apparently I need to do it NOW though!

I have to do my belts too now. I changed the oil last night, started the truck up and to my surprise my belt was getting narrow, then wide, then narrow... looks like it's missing a chunk... WTF.
