Help !! 94 7.3 turbo idi stalled wont start

Default Help !! 94 7.3 turbo idi stalled wont start

My 94 F350 7.3 idi turbo vin K stalled on the way to work and wont start I replaced the glow plug controller still nothing I also plugged her in over night and still no luck she cranks but does not smoke or shake which is telling me there is a fuel issue however my lift pump is pumping not sure what else to check any help would be great just spent over 1000 on her last month so the shop is not an option

That's likely. If you crack an injector line an 1/8 turn to a 1/4 and crank, do you get fuel spraying out the top, around the line? Confirm there is power to the IP shut down solenoid on the top. Its two wires, I think, and closest to the radiator.

The fuel shut off switch only works if I run power to it from the battery I have checked all fuses the glow plug controller has power to it all so I am guessing it is a relay somewhere

Sounds like the Ignition is bad possibly ... ( not sure if there is a realy ? ) ..

Yeah I'm thinking ignition also will do some more checking tomorrow

Get some connector cleaner and make sure the plug is clean take a little sand paper to the male end might be just a dirty connector. your ignition switch (Not key way) is down on the column and had a rod that goes down that moves the connector inside of it to the different contact points. Mine always go out in the start position and I wind up using a jumper wire from the solenoid. Did you check the big 20 Amp fuse under the hood? That runs the shut off valve check and see if you are getting current there. Since the IP is mechanical there is no need for a relay as the current just opens and close the valve no heavy draw.

I am picking up a new ignition switch module tomorrow morning I think its the problem I have checked all fuses and cleaned and greased all the connection I can get to.

ok so I replaced the ignition switch and still I have no power to the glow plug controller on the ignition side I am truly puzzled I have removed all fuses test and cleaned them and nothing is blown the wiring inside the truck all looks good

Update...... shortage is wiring harness the garage found it and repaired thanks for all the advice
