She'll forever be missed.
Was coming home from school today, went to pass three cars and a powerjoke pulling a cattle trailer. They were going about 30 (cattle trailer was going slow). A truck behind the lady in the powerjoke passed her and I went to go around. I was in the lane for at least 30 seconds before she came over. I made it up to midway of her 40 foot trailer and I locked up the rear tires and layed on the horn and slowly went into the ditch as she continued to come over. Well, my left tire skidmark goes about ten feet on road and then is in the ditch, my right one starts at least 3.5 feet away from center line. So there is good proof that I attempted to miss her. There was no sign that she tried to evade the accident. Thank god that I did swerve or else it could have been much worse. She had a big steel flatbed on so it could have been real nasty. But I hit her at probably a 45 degree angle in the driver side front and rear door (crew cab). Well I pushed her a good 10-15 feet. I shut my truck off. Put it in park and get the key out, go up disconnect my battery, which is easily accessible now thanks to my accordioned hood. Check her out, she's good, her door won't open though. The other guy in there with her was out before I was, I thought he was a bystander/witness. There was a bull in the trailer, he was alright as well. We got him out and walked him into a field where he was supposed to go. My dad got there and being the good guy he is, offers to pull the trailer out of the road. Well paramedics come and everybody is alright. Get her out of the truck and all that jazz. Took the state trooper over thirty minutes for the asshat to show up. All the witnesses know the woman and are talking her up and me down. But I was established in my land and she came into me, so her crap was weak to start out with. Her husband shows up. I'm leaning against my truck, my dad is going to get a trash bag to put my stuff in. Her husband comes up and starts threatening me. He says that if I had hurt his wife he would have beat my @$$. I tell him that I don't take kindly to people berating me and that he should go back and be with his wife. He tells me that I don't tell him what the F*** to do. There are two deputy sheriffs there so I start talking rather loud telling him to leave me alone. My dad walks back up and he tells him to leave. The man tells my dad the same thing about not being able to tell him what to do. My dad went and got one of the deputys and he went back over there. Well all said and done. The trooper gets back out of his car, says since I passed on a double line (I don't think I did) that he can't charge her with the accident but he can't charge me either. He said if it hadn't been solid she would've been charged fully. But this dipstick woman didn't have her license so she got a ticket for that. I didn't get any ticket at all. I didn't pay attention to the report he gave me. But while they were loading the trucks up she comes up to me and says they put her ford down as a dodge, so she goes up to the trooper and he says nothing would change. I think the ditz gave him the wrong insurance card too. She is on the report first and I'm second, so there would be no reason to repeat dodge because of mine. But the whole right side fender is basically killed. The front bumper is all mangled. Right half of the grille is gone, radiator, intercooler all that's busted. Fan went into the engine I think but couldn't tell. I looked to see if it had jacked the turbo but couldn't see any cracks. I know it bent the frame because the bed and cab are about 1/2 inch off plumb. I think the steering column is bent because the shifter is hard to work now. The wrecker guy says they'll total it more than likely, I've got all the receipts from when I had the steering box replaced, injector pump replaced and wheels and tires. That totals more than 2500. The low blue book on the truck is 4085, I paid 4k for it. If I can get full asking I'll let them keep it because I've had my eye on a 92ish one ton club cab five speed. If they give me 3200 and let me keep it then I'll do that and borrow the money to buy the other one as 3200 will pay off the loan I took out for the current one. If I keep it I'll be selling everything off of it that I can. I hope they just total it quick so I can get the other one or something else.

Yea...necks a little sore, but nothing worth moaning about. It hurts to look at the pictures. if they total I'm getting the ram off the hood and the drivers side badge. I've got the passenger side badge.

It hurts to look at it more than my body hurts. Kinda hurts real down deep because I was in love with that truck eventhough she left me with a dead battery once or twice. I just hope they get it figured out how much they want to give me real quick for the other truck. Thanks guys for all the kind words. I think I farted and melted the mold.
