Well, I managed to make 458HP and 1005 TQ today.

I was running Smarty Revo TNT on level 7:
Speed limiter = stock
TM = 3 (moderate),
Shift Defuel = 0(Stock-on)
Injection Timing 4,
Rail Pressure = 0 (default)
Wastegate = 0 (Stock-on)

Them there were some good numbers Bill. Shauna & I had a good time and looking forward to the next one.

I shot an e-mail over to you with my dyno info. Could you look at it and tell me if it looks like I started the test to high in my power band? It looks like my HP rides at a solid 319, but my best torque #'s start at 760 and drop fast. On the graph I dont see any evidince of building torque, just loosing it rapidly

BTW; The food and people were great!

Hey Geno,

Yeah, I think you need to do your runs from a dead stop after calibration.

As far as the runs that look like they start at XXX Hp and TQ, and decrease from there, I think that might be you "Beating" Keith on his data record.

Either way, you got some good data, a good experience, and next time, you will OWN that Dyno!

Chris at HDR Diesel brought along a few goodies with him.

First, this is a Billet Aluminum Fuel Filter Housing Cap for a 3rd Gen:
.

.
It replaces the plastic one that came on the truck. It has a port for sampling fuel pressure, and comes with the plug in case you don't intend to use it. This piece is handy if you intend to keep your stock fuel filter setup, but still want to run more pressure to your CP3.

Next, he had on hand a sample of his EGR delete for the 6.7L
.

.

And last but not least, a billet aluminum license plate frame.
.

.
The quality and craftsmanship on these pieces are second to none!

Thats kind of what I thought.

So that software deal that Kieth hooked us up with is great. I must have screwed with it for a few hours just analizing the runs and overlaying Brad and Jimmy's info. Cool stuff. Cant wait to get more little performance tricks and compare the numbers freom the last run.

Ok, I got the run data for the group from Keith, this is how it played out.
I arranged them based on horsepower, and if we throw the "Race Truck" out and just go with street legal trucks.... looks like Josh is the top dog

Here's the message from Keith that came over with these numbers:

Hi Bill: I am attaching an excel work sheet with your groups dyno numbers. Some of the numbers reflect the best possible peaks on the graph, but not the shift spikes which are misleading. Because we are only calibrated for torque in one gear during the run the numbers are only accurate for torque during that calibrated gear. If the guys have trouble distinguishing which gear is the calibrated gear, tell them to look at each gear over RPM. Remember, If the RPM ends unusually early or late that is not the correct gear.

I thank you and your crew for coming out and making a very fun day ( and tasty) for me and my crew.

It is always a pleasure having your group here.

Keith

Mods, if you know how to fix it, have at it.
