Yes, I needed to use the Benz radiator so swaping boxes gave me the needed room plus solved the steering issue. It is not necessary to change boxes, I just opted to kill two birds with one stone.

Will a dropped pitman arm lower the drag link enough to clear the oil sump?

Yes, a long one.

Started making my oil filter relocation plate today. The guy over at STD is out of stock and was going to take longer to restock than I wanted to wait.

Also is anyone else running the KKK turbo and not the Garrett? The waste gate on the KKK looks like it might come into contact with the chassis rails. Can anyone confirm this? If so looks like I'll have to notch the rail on the pass side. It also looks like the stock Harrison AC compressor might not clear the steering box properly. Flipping the PS and AC might be an option, I'll probably just live without AC though.

I'm blaming my laziness on the heat, but it's not really all that hot, yet. So all I've managed to get done is my oil filter relocation plate. It's not a super awesome aluminum unit, but it'll get the job done.

I just did like all the others and used the gasket as a template.

OK I haven't gotten much done in a few days. I finished up getting the fuel sending unit modified. I still need to get the filler neck changed over and I've gotta run a return line. You've just gotta love Chrysler return-less fuel systems. I did get my flywheel back from the machine shop yesterday. Mostly I've been waiting on shipped parts has pushed me back a week. I really hate having to wait on parts, but it's gotta be done.

Well I did, what should be, the last test fit of the engine over the weekend. Now I just need to finish some of the mods I've been doing and wait on parts. Then I can work on the motor mounts and exhaust. The biggest bummer I had was noticing that I just don't have the room to squeeze an AC compressor between the block and the steering gear box. I really wanted AC in the truck. So I think that'll be the first thing I focus on, after it's running.

FTE what PS pump did you use when you relocated it? It looks like a Saginaw Type-2, but I couldn't see it clearly enough in the pics to tell. I've got a couple of those laying around and they look to be small enough to fit, as long as I use one with a remote res.

I'm looking for the same with a remote resevoir so that I can mount an a/c compressor up high on the driver's side and the p/s pump down below between the block and the steering box. Does anyone know some donor vehicles to look for at the pick and pull?
