14" Clutch and Pull-type basket came in today... .this thing is huge and heavy!
Welded up the -8AN bung to the oil pain for TF 550 oil drain
A5000 Slave Valve came in today for the Eaton Roadranger 10 speed....
Clutch brake came in today for the RR 10 speed
Transmission parts are in shipment..... pictures to come once I charge the camera today from yesterday (parts and welding)....
More updates to come as I now have the motor all finished up minus oil pan/gasket and will now start working on the transmission re-gasket / freshning up....
Couple more weeks and we'll have this bad boy back in the saddle and running....
---AutoMerged DoublePost---
Well..... yea well.... thats all I got.... besides I'm an idiot......
(This is my f*ck up....... what happens when 50 lbs slams into idler bearings) (On my eaton fuller 10 speed......new parts on the way)
Anyhow..... everything else is okay and without surprises......
New Clutch Brake
New Slave Valve
New Clutch/Basket
New Transmission Parts (unfortunately no bearings...so there goes the weekend....)
Shift Dash Tag
Oil Pan Bung Welded Up....(Will go for soda blasting after drivetrain and initial drive... no sense of dinging up a nice shiny pan)
Wednesday April 6th, 2011
Rebuilt the range cylinder on RT 6610 transmission
New Gaskets onto front clutch cover of RT6610 transmission
New Gasket installed into input shaft bearing cover RT6610
New gaskets onto auxiliary tranmssion cover (which then led me to destroying said bearings.... idiot)
All for now until I break something else......
Probably will end up taking a break from the garage here for awhile as I went 10 days straight every night after work..... maybe more updates on Monday... well see..

Movin right along.......motor fire within a week or two.... (awaiting parts)
BOOST!
Here are all the radiator/intercooler pictures....
Radiator is a 2 core, 2-1/2" thick 19wide by 31 high Griffin....
Intercooler is for a twin turbo mustang.... plenty of PSI and flow rating for my unmodified 6BT and HE341 turbo..... (for now)
(Yes I know I don't have clamps on the piping yet....This was just final mock....)
ENJOY!
Yes there is room for 2 radiator fans.... BARELY
Went for the narrow and thick intercooler as this will not be a performance truck...so radiator exposure was important to keep...thus 40-50% of the radiator still has free exposure vs all of it being behind the intercooler...
Fabricated up my HX-40-HE341 adapter flange for the cobrahead exhaust elbow....
Fuel Lines are ran!
(I went with all soft lines since I change my damn mind so much.....)
Comments always welcome!

My NAPA is better then your NAPA.....
They let me scavage upstairs by all the radiator hoses with a tape measure for about 20 minutes and I found the PERFECT molded hose for the top (they don't have any 2-3/8" hose for the bottom outlet...)
1-1/2-1-3/4 offset Sbend hose..... yahtzee!
I also got some oily goodness (SAE50W for the fuller transmission and a whole lotta oil, oil and fuel filters and air for the cummins...)
(And sorry guys... I only run Valvoline in all my stuff.... its purely stubborn loyalty as Rotella T was a $1 cheaper/gallon......)
BHAF installed for trial run... and pop can for reference.....
Also showing my homemade bead roller for intercooler setup....(3" u-bolt exhaust clamp and old vice grips welded together...)

Well.....nothing to write home about... but ..... to no further adue
Lower water neck off of a 1994ish Ford F700 (yes I know... no clamps all for mock up)
With the new water neck I'll be making a bracket from the lower side front motor mounts to the bottom of the alternator as the old
water neck use to serve as the mount too..... no more
My HE341 - to - HX40 collar was a complete success.... and the cobra elbow fits in perfect....
(Cobra elbow off of a 8.3L cummins)
The reduction collar was ported and chamfered from the transition from 4.38 to 4 keeping nice flow patterns
measured PERFECTLY (around .125" of clearance)
All for now...
