INTERCOOLER WOES

INTERCOOLER WOES
Ok, I've just installed an '05 Cummins 5.9L into an '01 Dodge Ram, and now I need to talk Intercoolers (IC). The stock '01 radiator will work for liquid cooling the engine, but it will not work with an '05 IC b/c the '01 radiator is too wide (42" in length). If I were to purchase an '01 IC, the tubes would take some sharp turns, which would restricting airflow. The '05 IC attach midway up the height of the IC whereas the '01 IC attach at the bottom of the IC. So my question is this:
Will an '05 radiator fit into an '01 Dodge Ram without significant modifications? If it does, then I can get an '05 radiator with an '05 IC for the truck. If not, can anyone tell me a place that can build me an IC to specs?
Any help, recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
