Clean all the terminals and ground points. Also, load test the batteries.

hit it with a hammer might work , if your batteries are good then starter has failed

If the terminal is smoking, got dirty terminals or a bad battery.

Check batt and clean and make sure its not wired backwards. You can check it 10 times and still have it wrong. (Done it) Have starter tested at local auto parts. If wires were backwards it may have fried it. Check your grounds on vehicle as well.

the batteries i got has top and side post connections. I use the top post when i got a new cable. plastic red cap was still on the top post before use. everything looked clean and tight. battery charger says its charged. I have way to load test the batteries untill i take it to autopart store or napa. About wiring it backwards. I believe the purple wire go to the s terminal on the solenoid not the r terminal. I will check wiring again. I will clean battery terminals and let you know if this will fix the problem. thanks again

The purple wire goes on the S (solenoid) terminal. The R (resistor) terminal is only used if it had a gas engine with points. So you got it wired correctly.

Check for 12v at the starter batt + terminal and at the at the S terminal on the soleniod. Even though its new/reman sounds to me like a bad starter have seen it many times on new and especially on reman stuff. Had an alternator do that on a jeep grd cherokee 2 months ago was worse than the one i took off

clean all terminals on both batteries. Put + cable from the starter to the same side mount as the batteries.since they are in parrallel. And it started. thank god it is just a matter of cleaning every connection points. and no shorting problem. thank to all for helping me.
