could be, could also be a cracked plunger in the pump too, but it happening at the same time as an injector swap seems kinda strange:humm:
just got done adj. valves and nothing has changed :argh:
A compression test would still be a good move.
i can not beg barrow or steal a compression tester
swap the injector from #6 into a different hole and if the miss follows the injector then you know its the injector and not anything more serious
i bought a new inj and replaced my #6 inj with the rebuilt one, that was the first thing i did i thought i had a inj going bad. but i was wrong not the first time not the last. Thanks please help before i take her out back and put her out of misery, just lopes around :bat:
:humm: i would say its something in your pump, DV or plunger something...the truck was running fine before right??
Any luck bud??
yes that is what i was thinking, ya she was running fine and just started the miss. :yeah::argh:
When all else fails take the pump to a shop and have it bench tested, then your gonna know for a fact what's wrong.
