Is My PCM BAD? 97 F250 7.3 a/t
I previously posted "NO WTS AND NO SCAN CONNECTION". Since then I have checked all my fuses (again) my 6 relays at the fuse box under the hood, I replaced the Glow Plug Relay since it was a lifetime free replacement from Auto Zone. I have followed the Haynes Diesel Engine Repair Manual #10330 chapter 3 test instructions and found nothing...on page 3-37 it states "If relay, glow plugs and related wiring are all good. The problem probably lies with in the PCM"...Also I have read that the IDM has been the culprit. So do I spend the money, $350.00+ for the glow plug controller, Engine control computer that Auto Zone sells, etc?
The engine cranks over (new Batteries, Old ones were 54 months old and tested bad on my carbon pile tester), No WTS Light, No OBD2 connection and I noticed My WIF light doesnt light up when trying to start either, But it was before.
I'm hoping someone out there has had this happen to them.
