Lurker coming out of shadows
I live in Northwest Florida and drive an 02 Ram 3500 2WD long bed. It presently has 335,762 miles and counting as I use it to go back and forth to work and pull my 1990 Diamond D 35' 6 horse trailer around the southeast to ACTHA competitions with my 14 year old daughter.
Since I bought it 2 years ago I have replaced the lift pump, VP and complete overhaul of the rear axle bearings, seals, brakes(including emergency) and driverside axle shaft. My next project is to overhaul the front suspension.
I gave less than $3000 for it with 2 new Interstate batteries, radiator, brake master cylinder and front tires. The back tires were baby buttock slick and slowly leaking air. The transmission lines just behind the front bumper, where they go to the cooler, were leaking and the dash vent controls don't work nor does the AC.
I love my truck...
Hey gotta go. Still need to finish loading the tack up before heading to the next trail competition. Nice to be here for now.
