Look for worn idler and pitman arms and would suggest replacing them with good GM parts and then adding Cognito braces to keep the new set good for a long time.

Also, check for a any leakage on the transfercase. It will look like a small pinhole on the rear of the case on the passenger side.

Also, check for worn front wheel/hub bearings, by lifting up the front of the truck and grabing the tire at the 12 and 6 oclock position and try to rock it back and forth.

About the only common other problems that I know of.

The dreaded pump rub. Being an 03 its probably getting close to having the issue or its already happened and been repaired. Probably wasnt done right though. :w2:

well she is mine get to pick her up either tomorrow or monday when my bank gets final approval on my loan I got 10,000 for my trade and so i got it for about 19,000 after the trade. fully loaded and well sorry to you chevy fans it doesnt have enough power so as soon as I can ditch the dodge its gettin a box intake and exhaust then maybe it will be driveable. lol

Too bad, I just go rid on exhaust and intake for a LB7. You will not be disappointed, that is the last GM diesel that can actually here. The turbo whine is real nice with an intake for sure.

Congrats on getting the new (to you) truck.

I was referring to the engine itself, all the other stuff sounds real cool on all of them except for the LMM. It is still silent.
