I am in bad need to figure out my problem. My 03 has been running without problems except for some light colored smoke with heavy acceleration. Drove it got home next morning went to crank it begin to turn and locked up. I thought it was starter, not. I removed fan and turned the flywheel and it will rotate about 80% of one complete revolution then something solid stops it both directions. Pulled glow plugs and still same. Valve covers on driver's side nothing obvious. Didn't happen under power so maybe not to bad. Any advice or experience I could really use the help? My daughter on kidney transplant list and I sure could use a break. Jax Florida.

I would have to guess a broken rod. Proabably have to pull head to know for sure. Unless you can find a small enough inspection camera to fit in your glowplug hole. Drain Oil and have a sample taken maybe. $15 bucks average would be high alloy but I'm sure you will see signs in oil of breakage. I'm sorry for your bad luck buddy. Typically faster, cheaper, and easier to bye a used lb7 from a salvage yard and swap then to rebuild blown. Make sure its from an 03 or 04 though as the wiring is a little different. 01-02 will work just have to change some things.
