I just put the new filter on. Runs fine.

Then noticed fuel dripping while it was running. The fuel is coming from the driver side rear of engine block. A 1/4" nipple sticks out of the block maybe 1/8" , just in front of the bell housing and the fuel is coming out of that.

What is that?

Looks like it is leaking from above and dripping down

The fuel is coming from that nipple close to the middle of the picture. The new filter was dry.

Can't see any nipple in the picture too dark.

Although you are near the location of the #7 injector, each rear injector have caps on the fuel bypass/return nipples that would normally daisy chain to another injector if they were in any other cylinder further forward.

If this is indeed where fuel is coming from you need a new return line kit with caps,or just get the appropriate diameter tygon fuel line long enough to join #7 and #8 injector s rear returns so no caps are used.

Look again.. Its rusty, but right in the middle of the picture almost. And I watched fuel coming out.

Im only guessing this drain coming out of the block, leads to the valley under the intake. Only guessing though.

Do you mean between the 2 studs?
If so that is a solid bellhousing dowel.

Besides when I say I can't see it,the picture is too dark=I mean I can't see it,the picture is too dark.

Valley drain if it's what looks a bit like a rubber hose?

It is kind of between the studs.. But its coming out of the block, not the bell-housing. Its steel not rubber.

I will take a better picture later, thanks..
