6.5 turbo diesel strange problem

Aftermarket sending units were sent with the wrong sock and they will not correct the problem-replace with factory sock or remove completely and add an inline lawnmower fuel filter pre LP for easy maintenance.

Would be good to flare the steel lines where you join with rubber to prevent air leaks if you go the inline filter route-I use just the button from a double flare and stop with it to make a great ball for the line to slide over and to clamp against.

Well.... Glad you reminded me... So I did the sending unit, put in an inline filter and replaced both the lines all the way up to the lift pump. And now I ham happy to say it has more power than it has ever had!!!
