One other thing to check, but shouldn't be a problem since it is so new, is a faulty PCV valve. Make sure it getting proper ventilation to get the vapor out.

I agree with Heath and you also need to keep a close eye on your oil. If this is going to be the norm for this engine of 2 mile drives then you may want to change the oil every 3 months if you use dino oil and not go by miles. What you are doing is extra sever service on the engine and the oil, so take it out every weekend for an hour drive that is if you can.

I do use dino oilin that truck, and I drove the crap out of it this afternoon and have checked the oil and it is nice and clean so apparently you all have hit the nail on the head.
I normally keep a check on the oil anyway, but haven't checked it since around Christmas and it was fine then, but had been somewhat warm outside. I will sure be doing more checking after this.

Thanks again to all of you for the help. It is greatly appreciated.

Mike

If you still have that oil you drained, get a 3 oz sample and send it to Blackstone and pay for an analysus. They will tell you whats in the oil and why its there. Good to know if you have any engine wear occuring from diluted oil.
Get on that website and request a free sample kit.
I send in a sample of every oil change on my PSD. It can tell you early on if theres an issue and help prevent extensive damage. Just a little insurance for such an expensive motor.
