Ariat cascades, they are lace up. I love them very comfortable and have been lasting a while. They are actually my everyday boot. I work in them and go to clubs, dinners, bars, etc. in them. I dont have enough cash to buy some dress boots just yet. They do suck for dancing tho, they hardly slide.....

Doc Marten industrial slip ons or Justins of some sort for work, has been docs for several years now. For play I love my Anderson Bean s1007's. My next play boots will probably be a pair of Tony Lama's or Anderson Bean again. My next pair of work boots will probably be either docs again or maybe some Justins, havent made up my mind. Im thinkin about going with some low top lace shoes from Justin.

So far I like Wolverines. I tried the lace up route and just got tired of tying that knot. It's really hard when you have to find someone to tie the knot for you.
I've had them for close to 9 months and they are really comfortable. I put a gel insole in my boots the first thing anyways. The bad thing, they need new soles. The kind I bought have a pretty soft sole which is great for traction but kind of sucks for wear. If I can get the local boot guy to put a new sole on it I would be good to go for a while longer. And they were around $140 IIRC

Just got a new pair of boots, some hand made Nicks. Not too comfy at the moment, but after I get them good and broke in they should be good enough. They are 8 inch, lace up w/ leather laces. They are wildland FFing boots, and built like a tank. The soles are literally screwed onto the boot.
