Some of you have heard that I was laid off last month. I was a salesman in the building industry and with building being down as low as it was I got laid off... Last Hired First Fired... Well I had to switch my line of work compltly... All the suppliers around here are in the same postion with laying off people so no hiring and when they start to hire again it will be flooded with people looking for work. Well we had a local listing come up for a Mac Tools distributer... Well I applied... Jumped through all the hoops and got the job. I can't start the route untill mid January but that is okay. I am really excited about it and I can wait... Besides... Good excuse to hunt all season!!!! Anyway I have to go to Ohio for a week and a half and then Florida for 4 days and then it is load up the truck and hit the streets!

The truck I'm loking at has a N/A 6.5 in it.

I have to check on the legality of selling y'all stuff. MAC is VERY strict about selling outside of your teritory. But If I can do it I'm going to get set up as a vender here and will hook up all the members with damn good tools and pricing.

That's cool, Bobby. Good luck, man. I think you'll be fine. You're used to sales already and you have mechanical aptitude so learning their product line should come pretty easy for you.

 

I need a job that had more prestige and paid better, so I'll be working at a hospital, waiting for little kids to crap out the coins they swallowed.
