just dont cut your grass too short.... all summer long I see people hacking there grass down to the roots it seems like come hot summer there grass is brown.... duh!

well the grass is growing GREAT!! i had to re-apply some more seeds to a few places where they washed away. i'm going to wait a couple of weeks and water the spots that had no grass every day to get the 90% germination that they claim. i think it's gonna work out great..... the lawn looks better already.... there is approx 2" or growth already and it's only been 5 days.....

 

solution 1.......liberal application of atrazine.....

solution 2.......farm animal of your favorite taste (ex: goat, cow, sheep).....sheep would probably do you good since it would keep the grass short and keep you company.....

both will keep you from having to mess with mowing, for a while. or do like me and my dad do, just dont mow......i got weeds in the back yard 3 feet tall.

 

Its 45 friggen degrees here (the high) !!

 

85 high here lows in the mid 60's..... it finally feels nice here....
