Found the MRI images of my back before the surgery. Notice the curvature of my spine in the second pic from all the goo being pushed out the side of the disc? I listed about 30 degrees to the side for almost 4 months. I was lucky to fit through some doors! The girls at the MRI imaging center couldn't believe I was even able to walk, even with the crutches.

I dont know if the doc will give me more, Ive been taking double the amounts..... and one perscription is a narcotic Tylenol with Codeine, Flexeril, Anaprox They only help the pain very very little, and they make me nervous/borderline spastic, talking on the phone and trying to pay attention is a task. My hand writing goes down hill as well... my checks look like a 4 yr old wrote them
maybe the old lady will let me get a hot tub.

Wow, all you have been given is Tylenol with Codeine, no wonder your still in pain. Flexeril is ok but there is better medication. Have you told your Dr that the pain medication is not working?
I hope the injections help you, like i said alot of the patients we see get relief from them.
If you want come on down here to Houston and I will get you fixed up with an excellent Doc.

If it turns out you need surgery, I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Mark Fulton from Mid-Ohio Neuosurgeons in Columbus, OH. He practices out of Riverside Methodist Hospital. Good ol' American boy, mid 50's, graduated med school in like 1979 but up on all the new procedures. Helluva good surgeon and the type of guy you'd just as soon sit down and have a beer or 6 with.
