The House and Senate passed something and it's the President's fault?

Look on the bright side, we have a theoretical superficially slightly less dependency on foreign oil now!

its the presidents fault when him and his cronies are doing their damndest to get these things passed. having a big hawian luau payed for by us so that he can have the opprtunity to sweet talk congress men and senators into voting this thing through. adding a 300 page amendment at 4 in the morning the day of the vote for this thing, 1500 pages to go through in a matter of days. same with the stimulous package that was supposed to save us all, the promise of unemployment not going above 8 percent, and we are now pushing 10 percent. what happened to the promise that no body who makes under 250,000 a year would not see a rise in their taxes. hes a liar and he knows that he is socializing this country and trying to pass everything he can before people really start catching on and want him strung up for what he has done.

the news this mornin said Cali is inches away from bankrupcy and also 11 states total have a 121 billion shortfall on their budget...............its gonna get worse too

the thing that is killin us here is the gooberment is making up a **** ton of new taxes to compensate for the shortfall but at the same time with less jobs there is less money to spend so this whole mess is downhill slide.......they can charge 50% taxes but if nobody has the cash to spend then nuttin commin in

Isn't the President considered the voice and head of the Democratic Party... could Obama not make it difficult for politicians to receive campaign funding in the future if they are not in line with the President?

The head of the Democratic party is Tim Kaine. Dick Durbin and Harry Reid lead the Democratic agenda in the Senate, and Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer and James Clyburn lead the Democratic agenda in the House. Yes, the White House is the largest legislator in Washington, but primarily through the budget and OMB.

I think that this cap and trade scheme did grow out of Obama's first budget, I can't really find any commentary on it though. I take it that Hannity and Limbaugh have been griping about this the last few days?
