What happens when you have to reformat the hard drive because of malicious code or the recover doesn't grab hold? Seems like your only defense is a backup disc.

i dunno rswords, I kinda feel that the greatest pleasure s in life could be living without a cell phone

m Nice laptop there dm, got yourself a good one, now you need to get a friend at best buy to use their crapware remover to get rid of allthe trial junk, and then tweak it to only run what ya need on startup

I bought an Acer Aspire 3680 about a year ago for about $450 after rebates, and I am happy with it... Nothing special, but it gets the job done, and I haven't had any issues with it.
