i put a bd converter in my 06 cummins now im getting a code and the dealership says it is the clutches in the converter slipping anybody have any experiance on this or could give me some advice.

I went with the 1070217LX converter
Code is P1740 TCC Or OD Solenoid Performance

Ashley you might try calling BD instead of going back and forth here. Might get your answers faster.

he thinks its the trans have to go out and se when it slips so i did and it slips in 3rd and 4th with the light comming on

That would make more sense than the T/C slipping, keep me posted...

can burn it down in 2-4th gear now starting to get smoke from under the truck

Where are your located, are you able to get me your zip so I can see if we have a transmission delaer in the area. Have you talked to our shop today?

talked to the dodge trans gooroo yesterday and all the tests he did he is leaning to the t/c to be trashed can make 84% t/c slippage he said and all the heat has burnt the front pump seal up going back in 3 weeks to have trans replaced now need a new t/c
