Manual Synchromesh Transmission Fluid 5W-30

Hi there.

Can i use this in my 06 f350 ZF6 and T/C? I've heard this is much better to run than the ATF ford uses.

Honestly don't know if it CAN be used or not. I do know it is not the recommended fluid according to Ford specs. For this you would want either the ATF or ATD product that we have. These two are great products.

damn it! I know the 06 07 use ATF. The 08 09 use gear lube, but know onw can tell me the difference.

Heath, Ford has swapped out the ATF and is getting dealers to run Ford Synth MTF that is used in the 08 09 F250/350.

What does AMSOIL suggest for 08 09 manual trannys?

For the 08 and newer in the manuals they are suggesting the GL-4 rated gear lube. It's our MTG product. Same fluid that's used in the NV4500 trannys.

XT-M5-QS is what ford is now replacing the ATF with. At 20 bucks a quart, i'm going amsoil. Can i place my order through you, heath?

I switched my 06 out to MTF from ATF. Always been a little notchy, but it cleaned up a little with the MTF product. I've never really been much of a fan of ATF in a manula trany, myself.
