Well, got around to ditching my factory gear oil, and it actually still looked decent. There wasn't much of a difference between DM's writeup and what I did, except for the fact that Dodge now uses the reuseable gaskets for the diff covers, so no permatex or new gaskets were needed. It was pretty straight forward. I feel more at ease now that I know I have the best gear oil out there in my truck. My little commuter toyota pickup and my Off road jeep are next.
