Default Diesel Rx 00050 Glow plug

I bought 8 new Bosch 80034 Duraterm glow plugs as I thought this was the plug of choice. I went to change them out and I found a different length glow plug in my block. They are Diesel Rx 00050 glow plugs. A cross referance chart I read (Diesel Rx Glow Plug DRX00050) said it is the equivalent to a Bosch 80034. I put the Rx 00050 back in and did not change them to the bosch.

I don't know much about glow plugs. Are they better? Are they worse? Is the Bosch 80034 the right choice? Any info will help. Thank you.
