maybe I'll create a tool that will catch a few of the splines. I looked into the pump today and saw that the fuel pin was in the deepest position, turned down the smoke screw two turns and I still have no smoke no matter what I do.
I did break the fuel linkage attaching plastic piece, was in a hurry and didn't realize that one was left hand threads...hate when I rush things.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding... you want smoke?! Why? That's just throwing money away IMO. As well as wasted energy that would be better used getting you to move forward faster.
However, if you want smoke, try plugging your air intake.

scratch my previous post... didnt catch that you turned the screw twice. KD39; aggressive smoke is bad, the only problem is, in order to spool any turbo you need fuel. the H1C just happens to be laggy making the problem worse. gotta give some to get some. i agree there is a point where it's too much and can actually hurt spool up, just gotta find the sweet spot
