Well, if you're looking for EGT's in the stock temp range, and having a truck that you just can't over heat, I'd recommend the stock one!

If you add fuel, you'll need to be careful. Especially when towing. I'd suggest loosening your star wheel a bit, installing a 366 spring, rotating the stock pin to the deepest spot, and running the fuel screw in a turn or so. Try that. See if it is enough for you.
You can walk through a stock clutch or really **** of a stock transmission with just simple pump mods.

I assume you have already installed a set of gauges. If not, put that at the top of your list since you tow.

It also depends on how heavy you tow. I pull some really heavy loads sometimes and I got to the point where I just put my truck back to stock fueling(almost). I did what yoda said with the stock pin and half turn on the screw. With that set up its alot better but i still have to keep an eye on the pyro going up small hills and accelerating. I still can't do wot with a load but I also don't peg the pyro with 1/2 throttle anymore

I went with the m&h #2 and have my afc spring all the way up and it works great. my trailer weighs about 9000lb loaded. this allows the fuel to be regulated at low boost, (it seams to make a bigger window to pull in with out extremely high egt's) until the spring has been over come by boost, then you have max fuel possible. my .02

I have a stock pin that I ground down, modeled after wannadiesels pin (on DTR) and I love it.And it was free.I cant imagine ever needing to go back to a stock pin, but if I do, They are plentyful through salvage.

Either M&H #2 or one of Denny T's profiles. (Not sure which one.) Or, the stock one with a bit of a home grind. As Slingshot said, it's FREE!
