i hear that... i bought the truck off my aunt and i know the trucks track record. if i had the money i'd throw a turbo on it like right now just so i can sleep at night... next oil change i'm gonna run some engine flush thru it and see if i can get some of the choke out of the turbo hahaha. poor old girl

ok look at it like this... i work with a guy with a 93 first gen with well over 350K on his truck, he tows heavy, drives like a 16 year old that just got there DL. his truck is turned up a little and i'm allmost positive he said ge runs around 20-25psi flat out. and his turbo is on from the factory....no problems yet with his, i'm really pushen the boost out of mine at 37psi with a 60mm upgrade wheel, but i only got 160k on my truck. so i don't know if riden them hard an putten them away wet can determine if the turbo is gonna blow or not. i would say how the truck was taken care of will deturmine how the turbo will hold up. if you dont have exsessive play in the shaft then chances are your turbo is fine.

I finally got my turbo put together. I'm now pushing 34psi which is about five lbs more than before, but Holy Crap, it gets there in about one second of stepping on it. The 14cm exhaust housing is SICK. I live off of main st. and it is a steep road. Now, when I get on the road and give it any throtle, I leave rubber half way to the top of the hill, completley unintentionaly.
