Ya I meant to say dthey had it installed by the dealer. I did check on the numbers on that ez edge and he had said it was a 85 hp but after calling edge they said it was a 65 hp box. sorry about that.

I tested the lift pump psi at the line going into the top of the filter it read 6 psi under a loaded pull and between 10 to 12 psi just driving around without the pedal to the ground. I have been putting atf in with every fill up to keep that vp lubed and a little cooler is 2 stroke better or does it matter? also how di i check and make sure my heat grid is working or might that be an issue at all?

thanks for all the help so far

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT RUN ATF IN A VP44 POWER TRUCK< BIG BIG PROBLEMS, atf is not designed to be burnt and therefore most of it ends up clogging the injection pump and injectors, ive pics some where of a guy that ran atf in his 01 and the damage it did was huge. stop using that crap right now, its gonna cause tons of problems. to check your grid heaters you need a ammeter, ill scan the proccedures and post them up here later this evening. they can wear out or get clogged, first check your ground strap thats bolted to it, mine was loose and it would work at all. also, you need to have checked the psi at the side of the injection pump or at the top of the filter, after it has been filtered, that fuel filter restricts flow quite abit and its more accurate done at the VP instead of before the filter.

Ok I will check the psi at the pump and see what I've got again. I jus ordered a air dog 100gph pump and filter kit for it just to get it ready for a build in the future and eliminate the issues of the lift pump all together. any specific 2 stroke oil to use or just good ol run of the mill dirt bike mixing 2 stroke oil? anything to do to get that atf out of the system or just run the tank empty and then start using 2 stroke?

thanks again for the help

whatd id do is run it on regualr fuel with maybe diesel 911 or Diesel Kleen in it for a couple tanks. any 2 cyl is good, 1 ounze per tank at the most.

i run wal mart brand supertech outboard or universal 2 stroke, 1 qt per tank. Its the cheapers oil out there and it works really well. They do NOT recommend using a synthetic 2 stroke so stick to 2 stroke dino oil. Lots of guys have and do run the supertech oil with good results!
