Proven BOMB Combinations

so your saying the numbers I posted in my sheets are wrong because the torque is still climbing past 2500 rpm? They were off a dynojet

Here is what made a best of 570 rwhp and 1077 ft/lbs and a low of 548 rwhp and 1001 ft/lbs on two different dyno's.
ported, polished, and o ringed head with 60 lbs springs
arp 12mm head studs
maxspool pushrods
HD cams big stick
II's dragon flows ( 5x16's)
a dual fed 175 ppump with 4k's, rack plug, no plate, tuned afc, 22.5* of timing, and full cuts
air dogg 150
banks twin ram
SBC 3850 DD clutch
Intake
4 inch exhaust to a single 7 inch stack

My combination is very close to the same, even down to the charger. On a Mustang mine did 573 1222. I thought I had the sheet here but it must be at home. I'll post it later. I did have the gov springs loosened at the time so it would be easier to drive on the street.

I will argue here that although you may have a similar setup the numbers will always be different. Just because its a Cummins, Powerstroke, or Dmax, there is one thing you cant avoid. Engines are like people. While we are similar in ways, we are all different and its the same for engines. Two similar engines, if built exactly the same and put on a dyno, will still get different numbers.
I also believe this thread is a great idea. We can give power projections based on what we have done, but like I said before you will more than likely not get the same numbers. Maybe it will be in the ball park though. But like said earlier in the post. Don't get pissed when your truck falls short or goes above and beyond. Its just a place to start.
