thats pretty freaking stout. what kind of egts were you hitting? was it a corrected hp or what?

I hope to get around that mark when my build is over, well without the giggle.

oh and the post idea is pretty good in my opinion

you think you should get a twin set up or some water injection to cool them temps down.

then why the hell were your egts so dang high? I think you need some twins for your setup too to keep the egts manageable ha

nah i am downgrading that power is way to unmanagable on the street i am going to drop my injector size and go to a set of compounds
5x14 inj
60/14 secondary
76/14 primary compound setup
500hp set up now thats more managable
before you ask why is becuase try driving vehicle on slick ice all the time it sux

IMO you are better off to weight the truck and run it at the track and get a time slip. There are fewer inconsistencies with power numbers then.
The track times work great ... if you have an auto. Stick on the other hand ... not so much

Any dyno using a load will not be consistant. If you want even numbers, heavy wheel inertia is the only way to go. I have seen people claim hp numbers from a load dyno that are rediculous, I guess the torque curve still climbing past 2500RPM didn't clue anyone in.

thats a great observation weston i have noticed that and i couldnt agree more as far as heavy wheel inertia

also if you have a 4x4 you can trick a dyno by putting it in 4 wheel low with the front driveshaft out want to talk about numbers being high

The point is you will never have a standard result without a standard measure, there are just too many variables. People with experience in what works and what doesn't are the best bet to reaching any one goal as far as hp is concerned.
