Default 05 Cummins Fuel in oil and revv problems????

I have a 2005 Dodge 2500 5.9 longbed 4x4. Recently saw my oil level getting high on the dipstick and smelled of diesel. Oil pressure and temp are good. No hard starts and no white smoke. Drives great and accelerates great when under a load. When in nuetral if revved it damn near red lines and stays at high rpms for a couple seconds. What the heck is up with my truck????

Well I've never heard of a CP3 leaking into the front timing case so I would start by checking cross over tubes going to your injectors. Then I would check the o-rings on the injectors themselves.

Don't run it anymore and pull the injectors have them tested one is probably cracked!
Washed bearings will end your engine real quick!

I wouldnt think it's a cracked injector body but probably the top o-ring on the injector

What he said, don't run it anymore until you have all injectors checked.
