Default 2006 dodge 3500

I am having an issue with my truck. Starts fine when cold and runs great when started. the problem is once the motor is hot and at operating temperature and is shut down , It does not want to start again. I have to turn the key for about 3 or 4 minutes till she fires . Once running its great again but only if I don't shut it off. If I do shut it off the same thing happens . Anybody have a solution or a starting point to figure this out. I have had the injectors checked over and they are all good. Thanks

It sounds like air could be getting in the fuel system while the truck sits.

Is the tank pump running when you try to restart? Mine did this a while back, the pump worked great when it was cold, but not after it was ran.. took me a while to figure it out, kept looking for issues under the hood.

cycle the key 3 times, and see if it throws a code. check fca function, make sure filter is on tight, check injector lines. my bet is the fuel control actuator.
