Default FASS Titanium

Decided to go with a FASS 150 Titanium to support my new injectors. We went ahead and deleted the factory fuel bowl while at it. I'll get some pics up in next few days and get more in depth as my tablet is not cooperating this morning. For now I can say the mounting system is sweet and this thing is unbelievably quiet.

thats the exact setup i was debating about going with. def in for pics.
how long did it take you to install?

any particular reason for deleteing the factory fuel bowl? i heard alot of guys run the fass and keep the factory fuel bowl / filter as a secondairy or is that just overkill?

I deleted the fuel bowl for several reasons: Eliminate some clutter under my hood. With the 150 it's getting bypassed anyway by running 1/2" line to the CP 3.

cool Pictures

Install time will depend on quality of install desired. Between deleting the factory fuel bowl, removing the factory fuel feed lines, wrapping all my FASS fuel lines with split loom, re-engineering the engine compartment section of the electrical harness, mine took quite a bit of time.

The mounting brackey is stout and allows a lot of room for adjustment:

This was taken at eye level. Even then, it still tucks nicely. Standing bese or walking up to, can't tell it there. Just the way I like it.

I do NOT like the way this forum loads pics ...should also be able to click on PB link which will lead to my FASS install pic library.....
Anyway....

I personally do not anything "just connected" to my batteries. Looks dumb and I know and was taught better. On my truck: "J" fuse #2 (purple 30 amp) was not being used. It is a battery source. We figured out it feed a "auto shut down relay" only used on a gas application. Found which terminal was actually feed (see test light), ahhhhhh, there is my fused 30 amp battery source. Solder in a extension to the FASS harness, split loom, clean, out of sight.

Got the ground here (see green wire). Right where main body ground goes to battery.

Snuck the relay in here, out of the way, blended in as best as possible.

Granted it's still new but still nothing but impressed. Finished injectors and FASS on 12-17. The 19th, we left Mesa, to Kingman to SLC to Vernal to Mesa to Kingman. Seen sustained cold temps. Been quiet, hasn't missed a beat. No pre heater on the pump, just addys in the fuel, plugged the block heater in a couple times (I deleted the grid heater awhile ago ).
