SO the truck in my sig STILL has egts too hot for my comfort... I figured dumping my 64/71/14 and doing compounds would fix it, but theyre as high was they ever were. At WOT, i can still see 1550 degrees, 55 psi boost on edge lvl 6. Its getting frustrating. Im going to include a video of highway driving egts. In this video i am pulling a 5x8 utility trailer, so its not completely unloaded, but darn near empty. I dont consider an empty 5x8 trailer a load. I put the speed in the lower right of the edge so you guys can see, the egts are top right, engine temp low left and fuel pressure top right. Manual boost gauge on dash. Near the end i was only about 1/4 throttle and saw 1300. Youll see what the egts do at 70mph uphill, run in the 1000-1100 range. Take a look and see what you guys can think to do. I dont really want to do meth injection, i shouldnt have to with compounds. More fuel?? Should i do 200hp DDP injectors? Take a look thanks!!

Brad like I was saying you just need more fuel 150's are perfect for a 62 single I think my egt's with 200's and my 62 were the same as your 150's and compounds. I ran 240's with same turbo's and could tow or do anything with them but I was after all out power. the 200's were much better daily driver and will still put the truck at 600hp run 12.6x pretty easy

Not a fan of edge injectors. But their programming product is a very good product. I don't think it's the edge that's the problem. I know plenty of people running edge with no heat problems. It's not really the WOT egts that bother me, it's the fact that it runs like in the video at highway speeds. If I would go on a 5 hour highway drive with egts steady in the 900-1000 degree temps, it's just not healthy for the motor. Heat is the enemy.

I might say it's not getting enough full atomization. The ECM sees that you're not getting enough boost for the load % so it tries to put more full in resulting in a low boost pressure and lots of fuel = high egts but its just a guess. I have the same problem right now and I just bought 150s so I'm hoping it will help.
