I GOT A PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah check for codes, my neighbours did the identical thing. It was a bad injection pump. Sounded like it was missing and such. You might need to prepare to spend a grand on a new pump. Orrrr get a hotrod vp44 from industrial injection and an airdog 150! Haha

sounds to me like yo uhave lousy fuel, and you are getting ice build up in your filters. I one night at about -10* had to duct tape a pile of hand warmers around my airdog to keep the ice melted so that I had fuel pressure. I since found a fuel heater from standyne (35160) it draws 100W and seems to work wonders. it just screws into the plug next to your intake fuel line in your airdog, ie 3/8" npt pipe thread.
oh and by the way, several drive cycles without repeat faults will clear your codes...

One thing that could be helpful is how cold it got. My Air Dog has frozen up so many times, i started carrying spare water seperators. Check your pressure. The sputtering driving down the road happened to me. It happens every now and again and it will only continue to get worse if your problem is what i had. On the injection pump there is an IAT Sensor (Intake Air Temp... i think) that tends to go out...$700 fix Keep an eye on it because it can lead to premature pump failure. f

ok so has this happened to anyone else one here.....i have a 2002 dodge 2500 cummins 24v and the other day i started my truck to let it warm up and it started not really missing but running out of fuel and it would pop and sputter for a minute then be fine so i shut it off and tryed starting it again and it would crank but wouldnt fire so i let it sit for a minute started it again and fired right up like nothing was wrong ran great for two day and now every once i a while just driving it down the road it will pop once or twice and be fine! anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

Why don't you start getting your fuel from a better source and drain the Water separator more often? It's cheaper.
