Default simple questions

Finally getting around to fixing a busted valve spring on a 98.5 I just bought. They left the oil pan off for 2 years and very luckily there is no rust but some small dirt and such is in there. What would I do about cleaning it out. Also it hasnt started in years what would I do for the first start attempt. Is ether too much?

Also when the valve spring busted the rocker arm bridge popped off and they left it out. It got surface rust on it all over it. Think it'll be ok to reuse?

I'm sure it's fine just clean all the rust off and reset your value lash.

Well I wouldn't think anything would be wrong with it but there's really no way to tell
