Yep very common, mine did it while I still had my edge comp box in. I got tired of bleeding the lines on the side of the road after getting on the throttle so I sold my box . Its just that your injectors are demanding more fuel than your injection pump can fuel to them, hence the air in the lines and shutting off. The injection pumps also don't like to see a huge spike in fuel pressure after letting off the throttle, it's even worse with bigger injectors. Mine has 125hp injectors and I could easily starve mine out with the comp box.

The easiest way to prevent it from shutting off is to let out the throttle easy instead of really quick, and also kind of tap the throttle while your letting the pedal out so the pump doesn't see such a huge spike in pressure. When I worked at dynomite diesel that's what we had to do at the end of a dyno run to keep them from dying

"Its just that your injectors are demanding more fuel than your injection pump can fuel to them" that is false. Once you underatand the injection system you will see why. Injectors do not pull fuel what so ever. They just pop off when the pressure to them is high enough. The issue you are experiencing is somewhat common. In order to give you a good idea of what is wrong then we would need a complete list of upgrades. That will give us a good idea of where to start.
For the record when your hrvp goes bad. Buy a sovp, you will make more power when tuned.
