Help with rough start
Alright this started mid summer, my truck cranks forever before it starts, and when it does it throws out a pile of white smoke, im guessing because of fuel build up in the cylinders? After its started its fine inless i let the truck sit for 6+ hours, now since its gotten colder out as long as i give it 2 wait to start lights, it fires up almost instantly, i checked for codes and am getting one for the air intake heater relay, is this my issue? I dont reqlly know what else to look at, thanks

Well as soon as i bump the starter my fuel psi shoots up to 15psi, and when i say 2 key cycles i mean turning the key on halfway waiting for the light to go out then turning it back off repeating then turning the key to turn the motor over

But the real question is it an actual lose of prime? I've gone over the truck and cant see any noticeable leaks, i guess its possible that its in the cross over tubes, but what has me stumped, is why does it only do it in the summer and not winter? I'm gonna replace this relay and see if it fixes the issue, its bad anyways. But i can sit there and crank on the truck and while its cranking im getting white smoke coming out of the exhaust. I dont see how a motor getting that much fuel isnt firing.
