Default voltage regulator

hi guys, today i was driving my 89, and had noticed the smell of sulfer for a few hours, ignored it cuz i thought it was just that part of town, turns out it was my battery cookin, and next thing i know the truck blew every fuze in it and died on the side of the road right before i was about to shift so, i now need a new battery, voltage regulator and a bunch of fuses, does anyone know if the alternator is internally regulated or what?

You just said that you need a voltage regulator so I think that answers your question its on the firewall at the back of the motor good luck.
